Corporate
donations no longer attract a tax incentive for charities.
Companies are required to make their payments gross to KKL
Charitable Giving and any other charities that
they donate to, in order that the charity receives the tax
benefit.
The company will be allowed to offset their charitable donations
against their corporate tax liability for the tax year.
It
may be more beneficial for directors of some companies to
use a personal Gift Aid or Promise Account as opposed to a
company account, in order to attract a larger tax benefit.
